Week 4 EOC: There's an app for that

An application that I think would be cool on a cell phone would be a lie detector while talking to whoever we are talking to. Of course we all don't like a liar. Those lie detector that you patch on a person to see if they are telling the truth or not. It could measure a person's tone of voice, heart rate, stress levels, and whatever it is people use to catch someone's bluff. Even though there aren't very many people that talk on the phone nowadays, and 60% of them just text messaging. But for those that actually talk on the phone and are skeptical with the person they are talking with, they’ll be able to find out if the other person is telling the truth or not. Turns out there is an app for that. There is one for the iPhone. However the one for the iPhone is a little different. It is almost similar to an actual lie detector. It asks you a series of questions, first if you are male or female. Then a few other questions for example: “do you own a car?” It measures your stress levels.  The Galaxy Nexus phone also has a similar app. But not quite an app for when having a regular conversation with someone. Even though there are many apps that are not really a necessity, or that just plain stupid, I’m sure a lie detector app will help someone if their significant others are cheating on them or just a close friend not telling the truth. Despite our advance technology today, I’m sure many other cell phone manufacturers will come up with an app for that and will help maybe the police department or military in the long run. It may not always be accurate but it sure may a little.
